The Nehemiah Project Transformation House | A Faith-Based Sober Living Home

The Nehemiah Project Transformation House is a faith-based sober living home designed to provide a structured, Christ-centered environment for men pursuing lasting freedom from addiction. Through biblical counseling, discipleship, accountability, and daily support, residents are equipped to grow in Christ and build a new life rooted in truth and hope.

We are thrilled to share that The Nehemiah Project House in Lacombe is officially ours. This renovated 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 2,800 sq ft home sits on nearly an acre, and has been updated with a newer roof, fresh interior and exterior paint, newer granite kitchen countertops, upgraded flooring, and brand-new wooden decks on both levels. With spacious living areas, a large walk-in laundry room, and appliances included, the house is fully ready for the men who will soon walk through its doors.

This home represents far more than square footage—it’s a place where hope will be restored and lives will be rebuilt. For men recovering from addiction, this property will serve as a safe, stable, gospel-centered environment where true transformation can occur. We are deeply grateful for every donor and partner who has made this milestone possible; your generosity is helping create a space where discipleship and transformation can flourish for the glory of God.

What is a faith-based sober living home?

A faith-based sober living home provides a structured, supportive living environment that encourages recovery, accountability, spiritual growth, and personal responsibility through a biblical worldview.

How is Transformation House different from a traditional sober living home?

Transformation House addresses more than behavior. Through biblical counseling and discipleship, residents are encouraged to understand the heart issues connected to addiction and pursue lasting transformation through Jesus Christ. Residents live within a structured environment that includes house rules, randomized drug testing, room searches, and clear expectations – all administered with both truth and grace.

Does Transformation House provide biblical counseling?

Yes. The Nehemiah Project provides biblical counseling and discipleship to help residents grow in their understanding of God, themselves, and lasting change through Christ. We believe lasting change happens in the context of God’s people. Residents become a part of The Field Church, where they’ll be surrounded by believers who genuinely love Christ and care for one another.

Who can apply to live at the Transformation House?

Men 18 and older who are employed and ready to pursue a transformed life through biblical discipleship and accountability. Whether you’ve recently completed a residential treatment program or you’re looking for a structured environment to help you walk faithfully, this program was built with you in mind.

How much does it cost?

$1,000/month, residents receive more than housing. The program includes structured biblical counseling, discipleship, and a gym membership – all designed to help men grow spiritually, mentally, and physically.
